The climate kit of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University
What is the LMU climate kit?
The climate kit was developed by the LMU Munich and contains experiments and explanations on the topic of climate change. Together with UPAS, we go to schools around Bonn and present experiments from the climate kit, other experiments that show meteorological phenomena or give small theoretical but interactive lectures on various topics related to meteorology. It is a suitcase full of experiments and explanations on the subject of climate change.
How does the climate kit come to your school?
It's very simple! Contact us via one of the contacts below with your wishes and we will see together what can be implemented. Many things are possible, from school visits as part of lessons to helping to organize a project day. There is also the option of borrowing the climate kit and experimenting with the pupils yourself.
If you live outside the Cologne-Bonn region, please contact Dr. Cecilia Scorza or one of her colleagues at LMU Munich. They will be happy to help you find out how to get the LMU climate kit to your school.
