The dual degree programme in geophysics was successfully launched in the winter semester of 2025/26 and marks an important milestone in the cooperation between the Universities of Bonn and Padua. The first two Master's students from the programme ‘Geophysics for Natural Risks and Resources’ (link to https://www.unipd.it/en/educational-offer/second-cycle-degree/school-of-science?tipo=LM&scuola=SC&ordinamento=2025&key=SC3010) at the University of Padua have arrived in Bonn and were warmly welcomed to their new academic environment. They are enthusiastically immersing themselves in our master's programme ‘Physics of the Earth and Atmosphere’ (internal link to PEA) and campus life, and are already actively taking advantage of the many opportunities available on site.
