From June 27th to 30th 2022 the 6th International Workshop on Induced Polarization took place in Annecy, France.

We, the Geophysics Section of the University of Bonn, contributed with three posters about our recent research activities to the conference:

Arne Mansfeld with „Complex conductivity response of diffusion driven calcite precipitation in sandstone“, Jonas Limbrock with „Temperature dependence of SIP ice signatures of partially frozen rocks based on Cole-Cole model parameterization“ and Valentin Michels with „Sensing of winter wheat root systems at the field scale using spectral electrical impedance tomography“.

At the last day of the conference, the group went to the Aiguille du Midi in the French Alps and visited the installed geophysical permafrost monitoring systems.
