"Elements" explores every 2 months a theme of broad and current geochemical interest and is dedicated to a "non-expert scientist and non-scientist" audience. The September issue is focused on the Re-Os isotopic system exploring topics ranging from the geochronological dating and geochemical tracing aspects provided by sulfides, oil and water, sediments and deeper Earth's mantle and crust reservoirs. Prof. Ambre Luguet, who heads the isotope Geochemistry group at the IfGeo, led the chapter "The Osmium Isotope Perspective on the Dynamics of the Post-Archean Mantle"! Happy reading!
