Library Geology/Paleontology
Geology Building, Nussallee 8, 53115 Bonn, Germany
The library owns numerous geological and paleontological journals, series and monographs. In addition, there is a textbook and map collection (geological and topographical maps). The library is a reference library. This means that books, journals and maps can only be borrowed by employees of the Institute of Geosciences. Other persons may consult the works in the library. Inspection of master's and bachelor's theses is only possible with the consent of the supervisors and graduates of the corresponding theses.

Meteorological library
Meteorology Building, Auf dem Hügel 20, 53121 Bonn, Germany
The library of the Department of Meteorology of the Institute of Geosciences of the University of Bonn exists since 1961 and was founded by Prof. Dr. Hermann Flohn. The literature holdings are aligned with the teaching and the respective research foci of the Department of Meteorology. The library is run as a reference library with open access to the literature. The literature holdings are searchable in Bonnus and the ZDB among others, as well as via our in-house database Litnify .
